Trans-Dry is a specially designed, free-standalone system that will works continually on line to extract moisture from transformer.  The moisture diffuses from insulation into the oil - and then from the oil to the Trans-Dry.

Once the moisture absorbed into insulation paper in the transformer, it is not easy to remove it from the insulation, we will notice the Megger Value of the Transformer start to dropping. the normal off line vacuum filtration process give little effect on moisture removing from the insulation paper, simply because the moisture takes long time, to be extract from the paper to oil, by continuous process.

As over 90 % moisture in transformer are store at the insulation and only less than 10 % of moisture are in the oil. Short term vacuum filtration only clean and dry the oil, but not the insulation.

Transdry is a special development to overcome this problem. It is design for continuous run, without disturbing to the transformer, which all the necessary safety features are installed for self-monitoring. It even sends the moisture results daily to the respective PIC by sms. This make the management of this system are easy and remote. Transdry can be installed at the life transformer from 3 months, 1 year or permanent installation. 

Customer can expect significant improvement of Megger Value of insulation, stability of moisture level in oil, and increase and maintain BDV value after the process.
