DPM Vacuum Dehydration Plant

Application

Water is one of the main causes for oil deterioration. It exists in oil in 3 forms: Free water, emulsion and Dissolve water. DPM vacuum oil water separator is specially designed for separating all forms of water in oil, it adopts vacuum distillation technology which can effectively remove free water and dissolve water from oil. DPM also solving forming in oil which caused by air immersion. DPM suitable for any oil with flash point over 130 °C such as hydraulic oil, engine oil, lube oil, insulating oil, turbine oil and cooking oil etc. We provide many options for different oil treating requirement. Example, we provide stainless steel body for edible oil usage. We also have option to incorporate Fine Filters to separate particles in oil. DPM is design for user friendly, automatically operation, it is widely used in petroleum, food, chemical, mining, metallurgy, power plant, transportation, machinery manufacturing, railway industries etc. It can also build in explosion proof design for oil refinery requirement.

Machine Features

  • DPM vacuum filtration system adopts the vacuum distillation technology to remove free and dissolved water, odour, alcohol and volatilization materials which affect the quality of oil.
  • Efficient electric heating system, heating uniformity, less power consumption, safe, and reliable.
  • Condensation process, all moisture in oil extracted by vacuum distillation process will be condensed back to water by our condensation System.
  • Adopts interlocked protective system, which connect oil pump, heater and Oil level sensor, avoiding empty heating, blank pumping, oil leak and electricity leak. If there is any fault, machine will be power off automatically.

Working Principle

Under vacuum and negative pressure condition, the water in oil will be vaporized in lower temperature. (Approximately 70 °C). This will ensure the oil quality will not damage in high temperature. The higher vacuum condition; the lower of water boiling point and the water is vaporized faster. Even under same temperature, water can be moved faster under higher vacuum state.

Initially the oil will be delivered into our system via vacuum suction, it will go through the heater which heat the oil to our set temperature. Then oil flow into vacuum chamber and become thin oil film by the film sprayer. In vacuum separator, water becomes vapor, condensed by condenser and clear water will be store at separate storage tank ready for discharge. The dry oil will be discharged by outlet pump. For optimum results, the oil should be run by our system a few passes.

Main Spare Parts Introduction

  • Condensation Unit: the water molecule in heated oil become vapor in vacuum tank, then the vapor become liquid water due the low temperature in Condensation Unit. Effective condensation unit not only reducing the temperature of vacuum pump, but it also reduces the frequency of changing vacuum pump oil which enlarge the lifetime of vacuum pump.
  • Condensation Unit can be designed in Air cool or Water Cooling by Chiller depending on the oil requirement .
  • Online ppm monitoring device: Display online moisture condition in oil.
  • Auto Discharge Water Device: For large volume water separation, we provide option to automatic discharge water control by solenoid valve.
